2023/2024 Ambassador Competition

Are you interested in having an awesome experience of representing your hometown and community?
Do you want to have the privilege of building friendships with other people your age in other communities?
If you are between the ages of 17 and 24 by August 15th, 2024, we are looking for you!
The Howick-Turnberry Fall Fair Ambassador will represent the fair in September. Also, he/she will attend the OAAS Convention in Toronto on February , the District 8 competition in May, and compete at the CNE in August. There will also be various activities throughout the year that you will be attending if your time allows (ie. Santa Clause Parades, Winter Olympics, Cruise Nights, etc).
The contestants are judged on an interview with the judges, prepared and impromptu speeches, poise, personality and appearance.
If you are interested in competing, you can speak with a member of an organization in Howick and/or Turnberry townships who are willing to sponsor a contestant.
